On this tour you will feel yourself transported back in time, through Ukiyoe paintings(woodblock prints) and maps of old Edo.

There were lots of Daimyo’s(feudal lord) residences and gardens, Kanda water supply, Mt. Camellias, and Basho-an where the famous haiku poet, Basho Matsuo lived along Kanda river. A famous Ukiyoe  painter, Hiroshige Utagawa drew Sekiguchi as a scenic spot.
